3 Days until #MTMDC, Fair Use for Visual Arts, and American Graduate

FROM THE DIRECTOR

Can't wait to see you at the Media That Matters conference this week! And if you can't make it, count on finding some great takeaways on our blog and in the next newsletter.  And if by chance you're going to the College Art Association (CAA) annual conference in Chicago next week, please look for me--I'll be presenting, with Peter Jaszi, on the research we did about copyright and mission in the visual arts. Preview: more than a third of visual arts professionals have avoided or abandoned work because they aren't sure about fair use! CAA's already planning to create a code of best practices in fair use to address the need.

Best,

Pat Aufderheide
