 | Analyst: Video ads could prove lucrative for Twitter The online video advertising market will be worth $8.1 billion by 2016, and social networks such as Twitter are likely to take a big slice of that, according to a forecast from Evercore Partners. The report predicts that about a sixth of Twitter's revenues could come from video ads by 2016. "What places Twitter in such strong company is the combination of its immediacy and the support that it is receiving from the traditional TV industry," said Evercore analyst Ken Sena.
