Foursquare makes its self-serve ads available to any SMB Foursquare's self-service ads are now available to all businesses as the check-in service has ended a two-month, 800-company test of the platform. The company is touting Foursquare ads as having clearer, easier-to-track return on investment than conventional social ads do. "We're moving past the days when business owners have to figure out if a 'like' or a 'click' has any meaning in the real world; now they can tell if someone who saw their ad actually walks into their store," the company said in a blog post.
